Nizhny Novgorod. 25th anniversary of the private protection: the second stage in action

In the conference hall of the Association of guard and Legal companies "Berkut" there was held a scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors of the company, dedicated to the analysis of the implementation of the second stage of the complex of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the private security in Russia.

The event was chaired by P.V. Kovalev - General Director of the Association, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Coordination Council for Cooperation with private security organizations.

In the opening speech P.V. Kovalev stressed that the first stage of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the private security was successfully completed in the "Berkut" Association. The Russian private security community and the Association's staff, as a part of it, are starting to implement the second phase of the jubilee events, which will last until the end of 2017. At the same time, he noted that the measures already carried out and planned for holding in 2017 are being implemented on the basis of the approved in 2015 "Integrated Plan of Activities of the "Berkut" Association for the period of 2016 - 2017 on the preparation and holding of celebrations at the company of the 25th anniversary of the private security and investigation in the Russian Federation and Nizhny Novgorod region". 

The activities envisaged by the Plan are aimed at:

generalization and dissemination of the best practices of the structural divisions of the Association, all categories of management personnel and, first of all, employees performing duties directly at the protected sites; improving the quality of security services provided by the “Berkut” Association; improving the interaction of the “Berkut” Association with the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in ensuring public order; formation of a positive image of the “Berkut” Association, the Nizhny Novgorod and Russian private security community;

implementation of a complex of military-patriotic events dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory.

During the first stage (March 2016 - March 2017) of the implementation of the Plan, a number of significant events were held by the leadership and staff of the “Berkut” Association, among which:

participation of the “Berkut” Association in the "INTERPOLITEX-2016" XX International Exhibition of state security means;exemplary, on a non-repayable basis, ensuring security of churches and their parishioners during the mass religious events of the Russian Orthodox Church by the "Berkut" Association;implementation of a complex of military-patriotic events with students of military-patriotic associations of the city by the “Berkut” Association together with the veterans' organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Social and Legal Protection of the childhood of Nizhny Novgorod Region and the "Bagram" military-patriotic club;implementation by the Museum of private protection of the "Veteran of the NSS-2017" project, as well as holding meetings of children, teenagers and students with veterans of the private security within the framework of the "Victory Cup" citywide project, as well as children's heroic patriotic rites in honor of the Days of Military Glory of Russia, the "“Berkut” Labor Troopers" project; holding a number of sports events in the framework of the "Association Cup", "Hero's Cup of Evgeny Shnitnikov" projects by the "Berkut" Sport Club;

implementation of joint social projects with veterans' organizations to provide assistance to veterans and acting officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on military-patriotic and legal education of the younger generation, and to enhance the image of the private security and the profession of a private guard; a set of practical measures to improve the interaction of the “Berkut” Association with the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in ensuring public order through the Unified Duty Department, as well as organizing joint patrols on the streets of the city, the participation of the Association's employees in ensuring the security of landmark mass events held on the territory of the city and the region; Further, P.V. Kovalev stressed that we have started to implement the second stage of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the private security. The task of the top management of the “Berkut” Association is that in each of the 135 Russian cities, in which we work, at each of the 600 protected sites, each of our 3,000 employees understands the role and importance of the private security in the Russian public safety system, knows the main milestones of its history, sees an example of the best employees of the Association, equales them and receives a worthy evaluation of their work. At the same time, heads of all levels should actively, but reasonably apply various effective means of material and non-material motivation of their employees. Nowadays, presentations have been prepared for 126 employees of the Association for their awarding with public awards in the field of the private security activities.

Further, Chairman of the Academic Council of the "Berkut" Security Academy  A.V. Sidorenko informed the Board of Directors about the main milestones in the history of the Russian and Nizhny Novgorod private security, the content of anniversary events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the private security of the federal and regional levels, held in the period of March-April 2017, the received awards and promotions of the federal level by the leadership and representatives of the Association.

Director of the "Berkut" Association Y.V. Novozhilov handed P.V. Kovalev: an Honorary Diploma of the Defense and Security Committee of the Federation Council of Russia, a Diploma of the General Directorate of the State Control and Licensing and Permissive Work of the Russian Guard of Russia, a Jubilee Medal of "25 years of the private security and detective activities in Russia".
