Working efficiency of any individual directly depends on his spiritual and physical state. Practicing in all kinds of sports provides an opportunity not only to improve your physical form, but also feel yourself like a cheerful and confident person.

Any leader knows, that an employee, who pays attention to his health, becomes sick rarer, and it has a beneficial effect to the whole working process. Of course, results of such an employee will be higher.

Sport - is one of the main directions of the company’s social policy. There are a lot of masters of sports in the collective. Perhaps, this is not by chance. Athletes are a special category of people. They understand what the power of a team spirit is. They are able to achieve their goals. They have developed a strong willpower and self-discipline since their childhood. Moreover, sport perfectly brings people together in one common business. In close contact, finding the intersection of interests and development, people begin to feel like a unified whole.

The sports collective of “Berkut” is very active. Management of the Association consciously invests heavily in the development of physical culture and sport of their employees.

That’s why on August 30^th, 2006 the Association of Guard and Legal Companies “Berkut” created and registered the Autonomous nonprofit organization - “Berkut” Sports Club.

The main sports directions promoted by the company are as follows:

-         facilitating development of certain types of martial arts.

Repeatedly the Federation of the Slavonic-Goritsky struggle of Russia, the National Club of the Slavonic-Goritsky struggle, the Federation of hand-to-hand decathlon “Shturm”, the Russian Taekwondo Union presented memorable diplomas and letters of thanks for support and development of martial arts in Russia to our organization. Besides, our company doesn’t ignore children’s sporting events, participating in its implementation and organization. For example, the “Children, sport – health of the nation!” children’s sports festival.

Systematically, since 2007, following programs, developed by a veteran of military actions, police Lieutenant Colonel V.E.Laukhin, who heads the “Bagram” military-patriotic club, with the financial support of the AGLC “Berkut”, supported by the department of Education and social-legal protection of childhood of the N.Novgorod administration, in close cooperation with the N.Novgorod branch of  the “Russian Union of veterans of Afghanistan”, meetings of members of military-patriotic associations of the city: “Karavan” and “Viyuga” are held. Annually about 300 teenagers take part in the meetings. These meetings include a number of master-classes on fire, tactical, medical, marching, engineering and other training. 

-         health-improving work with employees of the company and development of mass sports.

Mini-football – a team sport, kind of football.

The game is played on the area of length from 25 to 42 m and width from 15 to 20 m. The match duration is 2 times of 20 minutes of “pure” time. It is used a smaller ball, than in the “big” football. 2 teams with 4 field players and a goalkeeper play the game. The gate size is 3 to 2 m.

During the years of its existence, the team has achieved the exceptional success. The MFC “Berkut” became the winner of the Progress Cup of the 2007/2008 season in the N.Novgorod mini-football league. In the 2006-2007 season “Berkut” became the fifth in the third championship league of the city, and in the following season the team took the fourth place in the second league of the  N.Novgorod mini-football league. In the season of 2008-2009 “Berkut” has already been in the first place in its group and won the right to access to the first league in the sports principle. Gaining momentum, the team of the “Berkut” sports club in the 2011/2012 season played in the top League, became the silver winner and received the opportunity to take part in the Premier-League of the championship of N.Novgorod region. The season of 2012/2013 was no less successful for our team. The team coped with the tasks, won the second place in the Premier-League.

            Becoming the silver medalist of N.Novgorod region, the team of the SC ”Berkut” earned the right to participate in the First League of the Russian Championship (a zone of the Volga region). Before the start of the Championship the Cup of the Volga region was led, the teams met in Togliatti. Our result – bronze Cup at the Volga Federal region – showed, that the team is able to perform well at the Federal level. And “Berkut” has proved it, confidently making his debut in the Russian Championship on mini-football of the First league (a zone of the Volga region) and won silver medals of the Championship.

            In the championship of 2013/2014 the “Berkut” team became the champion in advance, won a well-deserved first place in the Premier-League of the championship of N.Novgorod region on mini-football among men’s teams.

From the very beginning – since August 2006, the team is led by a former player of the N.Novgorod “Krona”, and the USSR national team on mini-football Alexander Ivanovich Prosvirnov. Thanks to his coaching talent, the team made a significant step forward in its sports development and is not going to stop there. Regular exercises allow players always to be in excellent physical state, in winter they are held in the hall of the Polytechnic University, and in summer – on the football field of the Shchelkovsky khutor.

“Berkut” has grandiose plans. To occupy the top places in the Russian Championships – there are all prerequisites to this purpose – sports passion, the will to win, professionalism of the trainers and strong support of their fans – the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”.
