In connection with the entry into force from April 11th, 2015 the Decree of the RF Government dated March 25, 2015, № 272 “ON APPROVAL OF REQUIREMENTS TO ANTI-TERRORIST PROTECTION OF PLACES OF MASS STAY OF PEOPLE AND OBJECTS (TERRITORIES), WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO MANDATORY PROTECTION BY THE POLICE, AND FORMS OF SAFETY DATA SHEETS FOR SUCH PLACES AND OBJECTS (TERRITORIES)” in some regions the staff of the licensing and permitting work of the MIA of Russia started to check fulfillment of the requirements to anti-terrorism security and availability of the safety data sheets for weapons storage rooms.
And not without good reason, in accordance with the paragraph 7 of “THE LIST of OBJECTS, WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO MANDATORY PROTECTION BY THE POLICE", approved by the ORDER of the Government of the Russian Federation from November, 2nd, 2009 N 1629-R, the weapons storage rooms, including legal entities with special statutory tasks, are subject to MANDATORY PROTECTION BY THE POLICE.
Perhaps in the future these requirements will be changed, but to date each weapons storage room must have a safety data sheet and in respect of it there should be conformed the requirements to anti-terrorist protection.
