Possibly, special organizations for ensuring safety in transport will appear in Russia.
The appropriate bill to the state Duma was introduced by the Federation Council member, Alexander Chekalin.
The document amends the Federal law of February 9th, 2007 №16-FZ "On transport security".
It is proposed to prohibit ordinary private security companies working on transport facilities.
Special legal entities will engage in this work, which will have to obtain special accreditation.
Founders, members and employees of such entities will not be able to be foreigners.
In addition, Chekalin proposes to clarify the arrangements for ensuring weapons to the transport security. It is said in the explanatory note to the bill that, according to the Law of the Russian Federation of March 11th, 1992 № 2487-1 "On private detective and security activities in the Russian Federation", PSCs may not carry on any activities except security.
