“WE REMEMBER…” AUTOMOBILE RACE OF NIZHNY NOVGOROD PRIVATE SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS, DEDICATED TO THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

On May 7^th, 2015 there was held a “Rally of private security organizations, dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war “We remember…”.

         The rally was organized by the Coordination Council for cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives at the Russian MD MIA of Nizhny Novgorod region for the purpose of:

1. Expressing deep respect and sincere gratitude to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and rear workers.
2. Demonstrating active participation of Nizhny Novgorod private security structures in celebration of the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
3. Popularization of history of the Nizhny Novgorod private security community, its role, place and tasks in the system of ensuring public safety and fight against crime.

Patriotic initiative of the Nizhny Novgorod private security community was approved by the Government of Nizhny Novgorod region and the leadership of the Main Department of the Russian MIA of Nizhny Novgorod region.

The course of the rally was widely covered by the central media of Nizhny Novgorod and the region.

30 employees and 9 cars of a rapid response team of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”, PSE BSA “Vityaz-NN” Ltd., SE “Bastion” Ltd., SE “Alex-9” Ltd., the group of security agencies “Titan” Ltd., Academy of Security “Berkut” took part in the rally.

On each car there were set the Russian flag, Victory banner and flag of the PSO, which they represented.

The crews of vehicles were staffed by the best employees of security organizations – cavaliers of the state military awards for performance of military duty, and public awards in the field of private security activities.

Representatives of the leadership of private security organizations took personal involvement in the rally:

• The Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” – the head of one of its departments, a veteran of fighting in Afghanistan and the North Caucasus, a cavalier of the Medal “For excellence” in the field of private security activities, S.D.Ovchinnikov.
• The group of security agencies “Titan” Ltd. – its Director, a veteran of fighting in Afghanistan and peacekeeping missions in Yugoslavia, a cavalier “For service to the Motherland in the USSR Armed Forces” and the medal “For military merit”, N.N.Nesvit.

The rally was led by Member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the Russian MD MIA of Nizhny Novgorod region, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko.

Besides, Deputy Chief of the Center for licensing and permitting work of the Russian MD MIA of Nizhny Novgorod region, police Lieutenant Colonel I.A.Bureev, took a personal interest in the rally.

A three hundred kilometer route of the rally started from Nizhny Novgorod, went through twelve localities of Nizhny Novgorod region and aroused a great interest of residents of Nizhny Novgorod and the region.

 

At the first point of the rally – Kstovo, participants of the rally were met by members of the Board of Veterans of Kstovo region, led by its Chairman, A.V.Zakharov.

The head of the rally, A.V. Sidorenko, congratulated the audience on the Victory Day, spoke about the goals and objectives of the rally, history of the Nizhny Novgorod private security community, its role in the system of ensuring public safety and fight against crime.

Director of the group of security agencies “Titan” Ltd., N.N.Nesvit, spoke at the Memorial of the Kstovo residents, which were killed in the Great Patriotic War, and then all the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of soldiers who died for freedom and independence of our Motherland during the war and laid flowers to the Memorial.

Then the participants of the rally and the Kstovo residents observed a minute of silence in memory of the town natives who died while performing military duty in the postwar years. A veteran of fighting in Afghanistan and the North Caucasus, representative of the Association “Berkut” S.D.Ovchinnikov spoke at the obelisk. In honor of memory of the Russian soldiers, died while performing military duty, the participants laid flowers at the memorial obelisk.

Then, the participants of the rally, veterans and residents of the town marched through the Alley of Heroes and got acquainted with commemorative signs in honor of the Kstovo Heroes, located on it, established by the Council of the town veterans.

The solemn event was continued in the Kstovo House of veterans. Chairman of the Board of Veterans of Kstovo region, A.V.Zakharov, familiarized the participants of the rally with the Room of military and labor glory of the regional organization of veterans of the war, military actions and labor.

In a warm and festive atmosphere there was held the meeting of participants of the rally with veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Caring hands of the veterans organized a tea break, which was held during a conversation about the heroic deeds of the past glorious years, issues of military-patriotic education of the younger generation, improving the veterans’ work.

The head of the rally A.V.Sidorenko offered Members of the Board of Veterans to organize planned lessons of courage for students of the branch of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, located on the territory of the Kstovo International Olympic Academy of sport.

Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko, and Chairman of the Board of Veterans of Kstovo region, A.V.Zakharov, decided to hold a working meeting on details of that long-term and perspective project in the near future.

The participants of the rally presented valuable gifts to the veterans.

Then, the head of the rally informed the audience that the leadership of the Association “Berkut” took the decision to award S.D.Ovchinnikov with a personal weapon – a Mauser pistol, “for excellent work and in honor of the birthday”.  

Alexander Vasilievich emphasized that this weapon was a symbol of the fact that its owner had “a cool head, hot heart and clean hands”. That popular expression of F.E.Dzerzhinsky reflects clearly the content and quality of the work of S.D.Ovchinnikov in the Association “Berkut”.

A.V.Sidorenko asked Chairman of the Board of Veterans of Kstovo region, A.V.Zakharov, to hand this gift to his comrade-in-arms, S.D.Ovchinnikov.

Further, the route of the rally was continued on the route – Bogorodsk – Pavlovo – Vacha – Novoselky village.

In the village of Novoselky the rally was met by veterans of the Great Patriotic war, the leadership and students of the local high school by the Hero of the Soviet Union, K.I.Rakutin.

High school students showed veterans and participants of the rally artistic and choreographic composition “We remember…, dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic war – the natives of the village of Novoselky and Vacha region.

Then, the rally participants got acquainted with a memorial plaque of the Hero of the Soviet Union, K.I.Rakutin, established by Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, V.P.Shantsev on August, 16^th, 2014, visited the local history museum at the secondary school of the village of Novoselky, named after that famous commander.

Great interest of visitors was aroused by the exposure of the school museum, dedicated to the Heroes of the Soviet Union – graduates of the Novoselkino high school.

In the school gym a group of high school students  - members of a military-patriotic group “Zarnitsa” – showed veterans and participants of the rally the military sports complex, during which they showed remarkable military-applied skills.

And, probably, the veterans were the most grateful audience. They greeted the efforts of the guys very warmly, and in their eyes, in addition to embarrassment of the spotlight, there were joy and gratitude for their genuine love and attention that the children’s hearts radiated.

Then, Director of the school, A.N.Novichkov told the audience about organizing educational and patriotic work with the school students and recruiting young people.

In response, the head of the rally, A.V.Sidorenko, said that the rally participants were impressed genuinely by the level and quality of military-patriotic work in the school, dedication and devotion to their work of the leadership and teaching staff of the school.

A figurative expression by M.V.Lomonosov, “Power of Russia will grow through Siberia” in the school walls can be rephrased in such way: “Spiritual power of today’s Russia will flourish at such schools like yours and due to efforts of such dedicated, faithful to their professional duty of teachers like you are”.

A.V.Sidorenko congratulated veterans and all participants on the Day of Victory, spoke about the goals and objectives of the rally, history of the Nizhny Novgorod private security community, its role in the system of ensuring public safety and fight against crime.

Further, he noted that the only one in the country Museum of private security was established and has been working actively in the Academy of Security “Berkut”, and offered to organize cooperation between the local history museum at the secondary school by the Hero of the Soviet Union K.I.Rakutin and the Museum of private security.

 Director of the group of security agencies “Titan” Ltd., N.N.Nesvit, a veteran of fighting in Afghanistan and the North Caucasus, representative of the Association “Berkut”, S.D.Ovchinnikov, also made a speech.

The rally participants presented valuable gifts to the veterans, and a personal computer – to the school students.

Then all the participants laid flowers to the Memorial, dedicated to memory of the Novoselkino village natives, which died in the years of the Great Patriotic war.

The meeting finished with a friendly dinner, during which veterans, students, teachers and the school leadership tasted army porridge with stewed meat.

In the exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere veterans shared their memories of difficult but glorious years of the war and post-war reconstruction of the country.

Besides, there was continued the conversation about the issues of military-patriotic education of the younger generation, improving the veterans’ work.
