THE REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA. THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST STAGE OF COOPERATION IN THE REGION OF THE ACADEMY OF SECURITY “BERKUT” AND THE CENTER FOR SPECIAL TRAINING “DUBROVNIK” WERE SUMMED UP.

 

On November 17 – 19th, 2014 in Simferopol, the Republic of Crimea, the educational conference on the basis of the Private educational institution of the “DUBROVNIK” Center for special training was held. 

 

        

The following persons took part in the conference:

  • President of the Association of comprehensive security enterprises “DUBROVNIK”, I.V. Salnik;
  • Head of the Center for licensing and permitting work of the MIA of the Crimean Republic, police Major M.V.Gotovkin;
  • Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of Security  “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko;
  • Director of the CSP «DUBROVNIK», T.A.Chizhova;
  • Head of the teaching department of the  CSP «DUBROVNIK», Y.V.Goryun;
  • Instructor-teaching staff of the  CSP «DUBROVNIK»;
  • Representatives of several organizations – partners of the Association “DUBROVNIK” in the Crimea Republic.

 

This conference was held according to the program of cooperation of the Association “DUBROVNIK” and the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” for creating the largest regional modern educational institution for training staff for private security organizations.

         Cooperation was initiated in the course of the Seminar-meeting  with heads of the private security community of the Crimea, which was held by the CC of HSDS and MIA of Russia in May, 2014. The result of which was a preliminary agreement between President of the Association “DUBROVNIK” I.V.Salnik and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A.V.Sidorenko.  

The final decision on the objectives, directions and format of cooperation were determined during the personal meeting with Member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives at the Russian MIA – Coordinator for the Volga Federal district P.V.Kovalev and I.V.Salnik. 

To prepare the draft agreement and for its practical implementation the leaders of the Association “DUBROVNIK” and Association “Berkut” formed a working group, which was headed by Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A.V.Sidorenko and Executive Director of the Association “DUBROVNIK” for the Republic of Crimea T.A.Chizhova.

The final agreement on cooperation was signed during a working visit of the delegation of the Association “DUBROVNIK” headed by I.V.Salnik to the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”.

This agreement, in particular, provides practical assistance in the establishment of educational and material facilities, improving the methodical training of teachers and educational process of the CSP “DUBROVNIK” in Simferopol.

The educational-methodical conference, held on November 17-19th in Simferopol, was opened by President of the Association “DUBROVNIK” I.V.Salnik, who emphasized in his speech: “The company’s management considers personnel training as one of the main conditions to ensure high quality of security services. Therefore, the establishment of a specialized educational institution that meets all modern requirements to training of private security guards and managers of private security organizations, is one of the priority tasks”. 

Next, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A.V.Sidorenko held demonstration lessons with students on special tactical and legal training. The tactical role-playing game “Actions of personnel of the object security and its interaction with a mobile rapid response team and the MIA to arrest the offender, penetrated into the object”, held by A.V.Sidorenko in a specialized class of tactical and special training, was of particular interest for those present. 

According to comments of the participants of the conference, the method of application of technical training with using modern information technologies was very useful for them.

In the next briefing with the leadership and teaching staff on the subject of “Issues of practical organizing and documenting various activities of private educational institutions, interaction with licensing and regulatory organizations” A.V.Sidorenko provided colleagues in detail with the experience of the work of the Academy of Security “Berkut” on this issue. 

In the course of the conference, Head of the Center of Licensing and Permitting work of the MIA of the Crimean Republic M.V.Gotovkin visited the Center for special training “DUBROVNIK”. He got acquainted with great interest with the training facilities of the educational institution, held a working meeting with President of the Association “DUBROVNIK” I.V.Salnik, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A.V.Sidorenko, as well as the managerial personnel and teaching staff of the Center for special training “DUBROVNIK”.

During the meeting M.V.Gotovkin gave high praise to the preparatory work for establishment of the largest in the region specialized educational institution for training of private security guards and managers of private security organizations that would meet all modern requirements. He also answered questions of the audience about problems and prospects of development of the private security community of the Crimea, and, in particular, the system of specialized professional education. 

The leadership and teaching staff of the Center for special training “DUBROVNIK” expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” and Academy of Security “Berkut”, and personally A.V.Sidorenko for the successfully implemented activities and a high level of organization of the training-methodical conference.
