To the bitter end…

On September, 29^th the teams of the “Berkut” sports club and “Volna-FFK” met at the sports complex “Sormovich” to determine on the football field, who of two the strongest amateur regional teams will reach the semifinals of the summer championship in mini-football.

“Berkut”, like in previous matches, played the first number, but “Volna-FFK”, consisted of promising young people, sometimes confounded the experienced football players, which are almost a venerable team of masters…

Maxim Serebryakov broke into the fore, which will be memorable for the representatives of “Berkut” for a long time…The fifty-fifth number of the guests had enough time to “leave marks” on the penalty area so much, that fans grabbed their heads… In fact, we can see the emergence of another strong team, which in future can conquer the country…

By efforts of Maxim Kirillov the hosts twice succeeded, but the intrigue of the match at first was returned by Stanislav Pavlov, and then Alexander Meleshin, who took advantage of the exact pass of Serebryakov from the right edge of the area and powerfully “shot” under the crossbar.  

The wards of Alexander Prosvirnov didn’t linger in defense, trying to avoid the post-match penalties by all means. A step away from success were Denis Katalov, Dmitry Dmitriev, Alexander Kubyshkin and other players.

A young, but already experienced goalkeeper Artem Adyasov rescued his team twice, and after Kirillov sent the ball to the right “nine” by his wonderful kick, it became clear that “Berkut” wasn’t  going to miss its luck… The game result – the “Berkut” team is in the semifinals of the championship!
