On August 5th, 2014 a regular meeting of the Working group, dedicated to discussing provisions of the Concept of development of the security legislation, which is a part of the “road map” the “Development of competition and improvement of Antimonopoly policy in the sphere of security activities”, was held in the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
The meeting participants exchanged opinions about the basic principles that should guide when developing the new security legislation, and came to the conclusion about the need of an additional study of the Concept, presented to the editorial.
Members of the Working group noted the relevance of the discussed problems, related to the legal regulation of the sector, and the necessity to solve them with joint efforts.
The next meetings of the Working group it is planned a more detailed study and discussion of amendments to the current security legislation of the Russian Federation, outlined in the “road map”.
