According to the first independent portal on self-regulation “PROSRO”, on July 11th the initiative group of representatives of the sphere of non-state security took the decision to establish the union of industry SROs. Thanks to that decision in the near future the “Union of self-regulating organizations of the non-state security sector” (Union SRO NSS) will start its work, designed to defend the interests of representatives of that industry. The main objectives of the SRO of the Non-state Security Service Union will be: - creating conditions for development of self-regulation in the sphere of non-state security; - interaction with legislative and executive authorities; - coordination of activities of the SRO of the Non-state Security Service Union members; - forming the information space; - non-assumption of discrediting self-regulation in the sphere of non-state security; In addition, the Union will be actively engaged in lobbying the interests of organizations, working in the industry of the non-state security service. It is planned that the SRO Union of the non-state security sphere will be the body that would be able to develop a consolidated position in the industry on all major issues and organize the work on improvement of the legislation in the industry of the non-state security service. Besides, the founders of the Union think that it will become a single body of interaction with public authorities.
