Today a meeting of the Working group on development of the “road map” of the “Development of competition and improvement of antimonopoly policy in the sphere of security activities” took place.
During the meeting participants discussed problems of the legislative regulation of ensuring security services on the territory of the Russian Federation, which are set out in the Concept of development of security legislation and in the Action Plan (“the road map”) of the “Development of competition and improvement of antimonopoly policy in the sphere of security activities”, developed by the “Business Russia” all-Russian public organization.
Reference: the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS of Russia) on the initiative of the “Business Russia” all-Russian public organization has formed a Working group on the development and implementation of the “road map” of the “Development of competition and improvement of antimonopoly policy in the sphere of security activities”.
The FAS of Russia has repeatedly noted the need for a comprehensive assessment of the current legislation in order to create a clear system of separation of powers of authority bodies and organizations, exercising state, departmental and private security, taking into account the need, on the one hand, to ensure security of highly dangerous objects, and on the other hand, the need to respect the rights and interests of economic entities and protect of competition in the market of security services.
The first meeting of the Working group was held in late January, 2014.
