A meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council on interaction with private security organizations and private detectives at the Russian Interior Ministry took place in the main building of the Russian Interior Ministry, on Zhitnaya Street. The subject of discussion was the following topic: “the task of the Coordination Council of the Russian Interior Ministry for organizing assistance to Internal Affairs bodies and private security organizations of Crimean Federal district in adapting to the Russian legislation, using the potential of security organizations to ensure public order”. Among the participants of the meeting there were members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as invited experts – about 50 people in all.
A newly appointed head of the Main Directorate of Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry Y.K.Valyaev took part in the meeting.
The session was led by Deputy head of the Main Directorate of Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry L.V.Vedenov. In his report L.V.Vedenov outlined priority tasks of the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for organizing assistance to Internal Affairs bodies and private security organizations of Crimean Federal district in adapting to the Russian legislation.
Among the speakers there was Deputy of the State Duma A.K.Lugovoi, who in his report announced the main problems of Crimean region, which require solutions.
Executive Secretary of the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia I.A.Goloshapov spoke about the main differences in the legislation on private security activities in Ukraine and Russia.
Also among the speakers at the meeting there were some members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, namely M.I.Korolev, A.M.Kozlov, A.G.Kozev, N.K.Druzhinin and Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation D.E.Galochkin.
Participants of the meeting agreed that in the period of transition in activities of Internal Affairs bodies and private security organizations of Crimean Federal district there should be taken measures of information, advisory, methodical, organizational and other support of subjects of security activities and Internal Affairs bodies by the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in order to rapid adaption to the Russian legislation and using the potential of security organizations to ensure public order.
Following the meeting there were formed assignments to committees and the Secretariat of the Coordination Council, the implementation of which will allow performing tasks.
