On March 11th, 2014 in the building of the Public Chamber of the RF a Solemn meeting of the non-governmental security sphere, devoted to the 22-year anniversary of adoption of the law “On private security and detective activities” took place. It was suggested to establish the “Day of an employee of a non-governmental security sphere of Russia” and to hold the annual Solemn meeting of the non-governmental security sphere on March 11th.
The event was officially called: Conference on the theme of “Development of civil society institutions in the non-governmental security sphere. Russia – is the territory of security”, as such it was broadcasted on the Internet.
The meeting was chaired by the member of the Public Chamber of the RF, Chairman of the All-Russian public organization of the non-governmental security sphere, Dmitry Evgenievich Galochkin.
Congratulations were also made by Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry Leonid Vedenov, Deputy of the Moscow Duma Inna Svyatenko, G.Zaitsev, V.Jadrihinsky, I.Shilov.
After the greeting part guards, heads of security companies and public figures in the sphere of security services were rewarded. Total more than two dozens of people were awarded. The awards were handed by Hero of the Soviet Union Gennady Zaitsev, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry Leonid Vedenov, Chairman of the Russian Council of veterans of the Department of Internal Affairs Ivan Shilov. Marks and awards of the Committee for public awards, awards of the Coordinating Council of the non-governmental security sphere, diplomas and gratitude were awarded.
