“Berkut” is going for the gold.

The next battle among the teams of the elite division took place at the sports complex “Meshchersky”. On March 5^th the team of the sports club “Berkut” won the team “RMS” with the score 2:1.

“Berkut” possessed the ball much more times and created a lot of chances on the opponent’s goal. The meeting started with the goal of Alexander Kubyshkin (a goalkeeper, indoor by players, couldn’t react to the attack in time), and later Anton Soloviev, which defenders couldn’t follow, brought the score to 2:0.

“RMS” played for a ball closer to the break – Andrei Svyatkin scored his first goal in the new team from the left side. Alexander Voronov tried to restore equality in the score, but the hosts, choosing wait-and-see tactics, dreamed to kill the intrigue in this confrontation finally.

But far “shots” performed by Stanislav Yushchenko and Dmitry Navalnev didn’t achieve its goal. At the end of the meeting Dmitry Nemirov received a strong blow with the ball in the head, but survived and continued to protect his possessions from attacks of the debutant of the Russian championship.

Last minutes of the meeting were held in a tense struggle, and “Berkut” strengthened its position in the standings.
