Russian authorities continue to struggle for the population’s safety. As it became known, the officials decided to strengthen the transport security. According to preliminary data, the guards, working at railway stations and airports, will get weapons and in case of emergency will be able to use it. The innovation will affect not only the “state” protection, but also private security organizations.
Given that the panel protection by private security companies sometimes is used by transport companies – in the presence of such a contract guards also will receive weapons. By the way, judging by the innovation project, already posted on the vast World Wide Web, guards of airports and stations will get MR-71 pistols. Compared with combat, these pistols have the only difference – the lower chuck power.
Guards, carrying out their activity on the outer perimeter of transport facilities, will get guns, shooting traumatic cartridges. Besides, guards “will be armed” with rubber sticks and electroshocks. And another important addition – it is planned to dress guards in body armors and helmets.
So now security organizations promptly have to prepare its employees for future changes. And according to experts, the proposed innovations will allow to fight against criminals more effectively.
