On December 25th at the headquarters of the organization of the departments licensing and permitting work of the Main Directorate of Public Order of the Russian Interior Ministry the joint meeting of the Commission 1 and 3 of the Coordinating Council on interaction with private security agencies and the detectives at the MIA of Russia took place.
The meeting was held under the leadership of Chairman: Head of Department, Colonel Anatoly Malikov and his Deputy Dmitry Piskunov. The problem issues of legal regulation of security activities were considered that may be discussed in the Commission’s activities with regard to its status and tasks, as well as the main directions of the Commission’s work for the year 2014.
The event took place in a business friendly environment. The measures to strengthen the work are planned, in particular, to bring the issues of periodic inspections in accordance with the realities of today. The activity of self-regulating organizations in the sphere of private security was discussed and as well as other issues. They pointed the need of all members of the Commissions to inform the heads of security structures about the additional explanation of licensing authorities. In particular, to place on the pages of specialized mass media the announcement, that at the present moment the MIA doesn’t coordinate the courses for guards and investigators, as well as to inform about the procedure of documents execution needed to apply to the Central Commission with a request to take the periodic inspection by the guards outside the region of the security company’s location.
