On December 22nd, 2013 at one of the gas stations an unidentified man bought 10 liters of petrol and poured it into the canister. Being at the fueling column, the young man doused himself with the gasoline and attempted to commit a suicide: set fire to himself as well as the gas station. The security guard of “Berkut” responded to the emergency immediately: using regular fire extinguishers, he extinguished both the person and the column. Then he called for the employees of fire protection, the police and the ambulance, which took away the injured person to a medical facility.
For skillful actions and precise performance of official duties during the fire extinguishing the security guard of “Berkut” A.V.Ivanov was awarded an honorary diploma and a monetary award from the company.
