On December 15th a branch meeting of leaders of the Russian private security structures with representatives of the European security and IT-companies on the issue of “ Security business: look into the future” took place in Yekaterinburg.
The meeting was held in the format of the author’s seminar of Alexey Chirkov – the former head of the Russian branch of the largest international security company G4S.
The heads of private security organizations of Yekaterinburg, Miass, Volgograd, Tyumen, Orel, Surgut, Ufa, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Biysk, Arkhangelsk, Perm took part in the seminar.
Volga Federal District was represented by a delegation of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” consisting of Chairman of the Academic Council of the Non-Profit Educational Institution “Security Academy “Berkut” A.V. Sidorenko and Director of “Berkut-PCN” A.V. Taktaev.
Topics of the seminar included discussion of issues on the European and world experience of the security business, in particular, the application of modern technologies in management of private security structures, assessing risks, pricing, customer relations and quality management of security services.
The representative of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” A.V.Sidorenko emphasized in his speech, that despite the importance of using the world experience, we shouldn’t transfer it to Russia mechanically. Indeed, the examples taken place in some sectors of the economy of our country show that it doesn’t always lead to the desired results. And security business is not the exception. Unfortunately, new “trans-Russian” players on the market of security services have not yet offered services, qualitatively different from the average level of regional security organizations, as expected. Now we can see distinctly an extensive way of its development…
Russia completed the establishment of its domestic security business management school in the face of the heads of private security organizations, working successfully for 10-15 years in very difficult realities of our country. And the task is to collect, organize, explore this unique experience and make it a part of the security community. As for the foreign experience, it can and should become an essential component of a capacious concept of the “national school of business security management”.
