On November 9th, 2013, an exciting match between “Berkut” and “Chaika” took place at the sports complex “Meshchersky”. The audience waited for an uncompromising battle and would get it with a vengeance ... So many hits on the legs, running boards, hand grips and other “tricks” Nizhny Novgorod land has not seen for a long time! ..
But the “thriller” basically turned around after the break and by the old tradition in the opening game by Alex Chegolin scored a goal and then “Berkut” gained the lead in the score - Alexander Telegin gave a precise pass to Dmitry Shishulin. A strange thing – “Chaika” paid attention to its defense, combined well but the things weren’t moving...
While the guests were deciding on how to attack more successfully, Maxim Kirillov celebrated his success. Andrew Tushnolobov, Yuri Sirotkin and other players dreamed of correcting the result on the scoreboard but Mikhail Zhukov who was assisted by Alexander Mokeyev scored the only goal in the confrontation after the break.
“Berkut” did not miss a moment of the game but then ... One can blame someone for long for intentional behavior and actions but the impression was that the players of both teams were dreaming of causing each other as many serious injuries as possible. By a miracle the game didn’t end with a mass slaughter to the shouts and noise of the crowded stands...
After the guests had the fifth ball in the goal net Michael Kolyada put on his goalie gloves and later hit back two ten-meter free-kicks. It was extremely hard for “Chaika” which lost two fielders in the course of the match to get even ... The match was an absolute victory for “Berkut” with a score of 6 to 1!
