“Berkut” is spreading its wings

On November 8^th, 2013, a match between the teams of “Berkut” and “Nakta-Kredit” was held at the sports and recreation center “Meschersky”. Already during the first minute of the game Alex Chegolin opened the score, and a few moments later he could give a goal pass to Alexander Kubyshkin and Pavel Gubko but decided to hit the goal himself.

After Alexander Telegin tested the right-hand post with a pass from Chegolin, Dmitry Shishulin increased the gap – 2 to 0.

Mikhail Lesayev was in the hosting team. Dmitry Goryachev, Sergey Zakharov and other players also owned the ball but the score didn’t change anymore till the break. Shortly before the end of the first half Kubyshkin wanted to put the ball in the goal net but in the slide tackle of Sergey Ulanov brought the “bullet” off-site.

In the second half of the game Dmitry Smorodin (3 to 0) reminded about himself and a minute later he turned out to be one-on- one with the goalkeeper but the “goal guardian” came out victorious in this duel.

Viktor Kuznetsov hit the lower right corner of the goal with a distant aim kick what was also met with taking the “frame” by Maxim Kirillov. Telegin found Kirillov with a precise pass and the result came to 5 to1.

The team “Nakta-Kredit” would not give up - Sergei Sumin gave the ball to Vadim Lesaev but the latter hit wide. Later Sumin passed to Michael Lesaev from a corner and the latter was precise at the far post.

Definitely the final goal by “Berkut” was beautiful when three players participated in the combination. Kubyshkin passed to Chegolin who one-touch shared the ball with Dmitry Dmitriev. A minute before the final whistle Kubyshkin jumped to a rendezvous with the goalkeeper but apparently it was not meant to be. The game result is 2 to 7 in favor of “Berkut”!
