«Berkut» has smashed it!

On October 30^th the Premier League season was opened in SRC “Meschersky”. Fate decreed that “Volna-FFK”, the third prize winner of the first ligule, opened this season. Compared with the previous season both teams managed to keep their team players and improve individually. Anton Solovyev held the first match in the elite for “Berkut” while futsal fans saw Ilya Rogozhin and Alexander Meleshin in “Volna” uniform.

From the first head judge whistle, “Berkut” took the initiative controlling the ball, stretching the defense of the rival to make free zones there. When “Berkut” lost the ball they immediately started to fight the ball back in the opponents’ half of the field. “Volna” was not quite ready for the pace offered and missed the ball in the third shift. Dmitry Smorodin sent the ball into the net from the far post after a cutting pass by Alexander Telegin. After the change, the first four of “Volna” missed another ball what later led to the changes in the team composition. The second quartet of the nominal hosts looked more confident, as befits the team leaders, Meleshin and Rogozhin set the tone. It was Alexander who during the counterattack “three-in- two” with a kick from a sharp angle to the farther “nine” managed to win one ball but it happened when the score already was 0 to 3. The intrigue that was brought back didn’t live long - by the end of the first half “Berkut” led 6 to 1.

After the break, the Premier League debutants, famous for their fighting qualities, moved the game away from their goalpost. Artem Adyasov’s penalty area was occasionally a tough place, but if “Volna” didn’t use the advantage of the moments, “Berkut” punished the opponent for virtually everything. Nor did help to the hosting team the change of the goalkeeper – the goalkeeper Vladimir Rodionov was replaced by Maxim Malov. It happened after the score was 9 to 1 in favor of the team in white. “Volna” roused again. During three minutes Stanislav Pavlov twice hit the post and came into conflict with Dmitry Dmitriev as well placed a good bet on Juriy Jemchug. However, it was not enough for the goal to be scored. Anton Solovyov cooled the eagerness of Jemchug’s fosterlings. He made his first “hat trick” during one change in the Premier League. In the second half, the advantage of “Berkut” in physical training, in teamwork and mutual cooperation was clearly obvious. All of the above has led to a natural but still quite an unexpected result. Alexander Kubyshkin made the final point in the match by taking out the “poker”. The result of the game is 2 to 15 in favor of “Berkut”.

 In the very first game “Berkut” showed its serious intentions to win the championship. The team also demonstrated they are very much prepared for the matches of the Privolzhiye Cup, which will take place on November 14-17 in Togliatti. Let’s wish Aleksander Prosvirnov’s fosterlings to honorably represent Nizhny Novgorod and the region at the prestigious tournament!
