The Summer Championship Finals

Nizhniy Novgorod Futsal Championship finals took place in Sport complex “Sormovich” on September 23^rd. The teams of the sports club “Berkut” and “Sparta –Media” met in the finals.

“Berkut” is the talk of the whole city now. As well as Vladislav Gordeev and how he created the team and how the young footballers were working their way up to such a high-profile success, and every “star” in the camp of the young and promising team.

No matter how much the guests wanted to score an early goal they had to wait in the wings. It is playing on the counterattacks that brought “Berkut” the victory in this hard battle, though “Sparta – Media” was also close to succeeding many times.

The host team didn’t give up the attempts to rectify the situation on the field after the break, but the defensive blunders led to the fact that the opponent forwards increased the gap in the score and played well in the end of the meeting not allowing the team in blue to  take the initiative. 0 to 4 in favor of “Berkut” is the finals score of the Open Summer Futsal Championship in Nizhny Novgorod.

We note that 6 groups of 10 teams in each participated in the Open Summer Futsal Championship. The team “Berkut” was the 1^st in its group which gave it an opportunity to start a game in the playoffs in a 1/16 finals. On the way to the victory, “Berkut” beat the strongest teams in the Nizhny Novgorod region such as “Povolzhie-sport”, “AiK”- the champion of the Summer Championship of 2012, “Bureau K” team and many others.

When the tense game was over, the end of the Summer Championship was marked with the awarding ceremony of the finalists and, of course, with festive greetings of the Championship winner – the football team of the Sports Club “Berkut”.

The Administration representatives of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” were first to congratulate the winners and presented the players with trophies and cash prizes.  Kind words were said to the team that has achieved dizzying success in such a short period of time and has become the best team in Nizhny Novgorod region.

Futsal Federation President in Nizhny Novgorod region, Andiyanov Artyem, presented the team captain of “Berkut”, Gordeyev Vladislav, the Cup “for the 1^st place in the Open Nizhniy Novgorod Futsal Championship”. The Championship chief referee, Petrov Igor’, personally awarded the team with the diploma for the 1st place from the Committee for Culture, Sport and Youth Policy of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod.

In addition, at the end of the whole Championship, two players of “Berkut” were recognized the best in their category. So, Telegin Alexander has become the best player and Adyasov Artem has been named the best goalkeeper in the Open Summer Championship of 2013. The guys were also awarded with the certificates and valuable prizes.

The coveted Cup is in “Berkut” hands!
