The match “Berkut” vs. “Polvolzhye-sport” in the eighth of the summer championship

On 16^th of September the team of sports club “Berkut” beat its old opponent – “Povolzhye-Sport” team in an interesting match with a score of 1 to 2.

The numerous fans were waiting for a real battle and the players lived up to this high level of trust...

“Povolzhye-sport” that can participate in various tournaments as often as every day, had many favorable moments in the first half. “Berkut” having put forward its crushing quartet could not hit the cherished goal, though they really wanted to.

In the second half, another solo run of Artem Kuznetsov was a success when number 10 of the host team gave a precise pass to Alexey Peschanov who opened the score.

But it is Dmitry Shishulin that played in the rival team and scored perhaps the most beautiful goal of the championship. The forward of “Berkut” sent the “bullet” to the goalpost net performing “scissors” in the fall and later Anton Solovyov had his say and set the final score. The receiving team put all its effort but despite all the zeal “Povolzhye –Sport” alas, failed to win it back...
