THE ASSOCIATION OF GUARD AND LEGAL COMPANIES “BERKUT” AT THE 18TH INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL AND ECONOMIC FORUM “BUDUSHEE ROSSII” (“THE FUTURE OF RUSSIA”).

The Association of Guard and Legal companies “Berkut” took part in the 18th International Industrial and Economic Forum “The Future of Russia. The development of innovative regional clusters and technological platforms”.

The forum was held in Nizhny Novgorod in the framework of the International Business Summit 2013 organized by the Centre of National Intellectual Reserve, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod region with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The 18th International Industrial and Economic Forum “The Future of Russia” was held in order to:

• demonstrate innovative development in science, business, education, and economy;

• develop regional cooperation in the economic, scientific, social and humanitarian sectors;

• promote cooperation in industry, science and technology, education and culture;

• promote the commercialization of innovative products;

• promote investment increase in the promising sectors of the regional economy.

Besides the business agenda, the exhibition with the expositions of the biggest industry associations, enterprises and organizations at the federal level was organized at the 18th International Industrial and Economic Forum “The Future of Russia”.

In total, the forum held more than 70 congress events that were assisted by the heads of federal departments and agencies, professional organizations and associations, as well as large Russian companies and organizations.

One of the main sections of the forum was a complex of exhibition activities on the topic “Guarding, security, rescue”, where the exposition of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” took its rightful place.

Among the honorary guests of the exhibition “Guarding, security, rescue” were Vladimir Artamonov, the Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disasters control; Lyudmila Bokova, a member of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for Science, Education, Culture and Information Policy; Alexander Shokhin, the President of the Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; Sergei Schetinin, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Russian Union of rescuers.

As the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, Valery Shantsev, noted in his welcoming speech to the participants and guests of the opening ceremony, thanks to intensive program the exhibition and congress projects provide assistance to promising projects including those aimed at developing and boosting the region's brand.

The exposition of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” at the exhibition “Guarding, security, rescue” consisted of two sections. The first section contained the detailed and full information about the geography and the services provided by the Association in ensuring security of businesses and individuals as well as about its real achievements in private security.

The Association “Berkut” has long been a group of successfully and fast growing security companies in the Russian market of security services. Since its inception, it seeks not only to reach a professional level and higher quality of services provided that include all kinds of security services, but also constantly to push the boundaries of its activities by opening new branches in different cities of Russia.

Currently, 2,500 employees of the Association “Berkut” ensure the safety of more than 500 objects, 183 000 people in 65 cities in 15 subjects of the Russian Federation, in 9 regions and in 6 republics.

The quality of services rendered by the Association shows itself in dozens of gratitude letters from the clients, awards and merits from various authorities, including at the federal level. Some of these were presented at the exhibition. The gratitude letters by the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, by the Administration of the MIA of Russia, the medal “For cooperation with the MIA” and the awards and letters of appreciation for the active long-term charitable activities undertaken by the Association “Berkut” took their place of honor.

The sections of the exposition dedicated to the public awards in private security activities, accomplishments of the Sports Club “Berkut” as well as the country's only museum of private security and investigation attracted a great interest of the visitors.

The second section of the exhibition was devoted to the activities of the Academy of Security “Berkut”. During the period from 2004 to 2013 162,759 people have used its services on 26 training programs and other areas of academic work.

Besides the training the Security Academy “Berkut” successfully solves important social problems. This, above all, is quality and systematic education of the public about the basics of civil rights and thus - the active action against legal literacy and legal nihilism of some population, especially in young people. As well as instilling graduates (and their families through them) with active position against offenders and provision of practical assistance to the MIA bodies in fighting crime. The letter of gratitude by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region sent to the staff of the Academy of Security "Berkut" presented at the exhibition supports the results and quality of this work.

The exposition of design works by the designers of the sewing production of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” attracted the interest of the visitors and guard and legal organizations. At the exhibition the mannequins with private guard uniform on as well as the catalogs and samples of work wear and everyday (casual and festive) clothes for various purposes were presented.

During September 10-13, 2013, the exhibition of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” at the 18th International Industrial and Economic Forum “The Future of Russia” was visited and thoroughly familiarized with by 35 representatives of private security structures of Nizhny Novgorod region and other regions as well as 27 representatives of the business community who are the clients of private security organizations.
