The Coordination Council of the MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Region summed up the results of 2011at the meeting which was held on December 22th, 2011, in the hall of police department # 5 (which is in charge of Nizhegorodsky city district).

Acting in lieu of the Chief of MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Region Police Major General Tsyganov Victor Stepanovich opened the session of the Coordination Council. He welcomed the representatives of the Council with greeting speech and thanked them for cooperation and achieved team-work results in the current year.

The results of the work of the Coordination Council during 2011 made the first point in the agenda of the Council meeting. Police Chief Deputy of the MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Region Shmonin Andrey Borisovich reported on the work results of the Committee. He stressed that private guarding agencies along with the police carry out considerable work to provide protection of the public order. «According to the results of this year, the guarding officers detained nearly 500 offenders and prevented some 5000 crimes working with law enforcement authorities» , Andrey Borisovich reported. Bureyev Ivan Alexandrovich, the Deputy Head of the Licensing and Permitting Center, spoke about the improvement of team working for enhancing the quality of private guarding services and for organization of cooperation between private guarding agencies and law enforcement authorities. The Chairman of the Board of Veterans of the MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Region, a member of the Public Council in Central administrative board, Sibirev Peter Ivanovich, spoke in front of the Coordination Council representatives at the end of the meeting.

The rewarding ceremony of the private guarding agencies’ outstanding employees for 2011 was the most pleasant and solemn moment of the Coordination Council session. Carrying out their regular duties, the private guards help the police to prevent crimes and detain offenders. At the same time, special attention was paid to the role of the Department of Internal Affairs veterans – the Chairman of the Board of Veterans Sibirev was awarded the commemorative badge «For the contribution to the development of licensing and permitting services.»

«We have reviewed the results of our team work for the outgoing year. Over this year we have done an immense work in cooperation with private guarding agencies. With the help of the private guards the police officers arrested 468 alleged offenders and prevented some 4500 offenses. It's really a great contribution to ensuring the protection of public order,» - said the Acting in lieu of the Chief of MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Region Police Major General Tsyganov Victor Stepanovich.
