At the end of December, 2012 meetings and master classes of coaches and athletes of the Slavonic-Goritskaya struggle under the leadership of the Federation president A.S.Belov took place at the sports complex “Dinamo” (Moscow). Representatives of more than 50 cities of Russia gathered together at the meetings, as well as athletes from Ukraine and Belarus.
Famous fighters took part in the meetings and demonstration master classes, such as: Anton Ilyichev, Evgeny Popov, Maxim Volostnykh and other winners of major tournaments on different kinds of martial arts. An outstanding event of the Moscow meeting was the personal master class of Alexander Konstantinovich Belov, a recognized master of combat craft.
Participants of the meetings with great interest and pleasure exchanged experiences on organizing and conducting competitions, honing their skills on the wrestling mat. Nizhny Novgorod was represented by the employee of the Association of Guard and Legal Companies “Berkut” Oleg Skorodumov, the RF honored coach on hand-to-hand combat. His team were also able to go to the winter meetings, - young guys, engaged in the Slavonic-Goritskaya struggle in Nizhny Novgorod. This trip just couldn’t take place without the full support of the Association of Guard and Legal Companies “Berkut”. Young athletes got bright unforgettable impressions, invaluable knowledge and skills, were able to see in practice experienced and famous fighters.
