Nizhny Novgorod private guarding – to children

On the 12th to 15th, January 2012, the Association of guard and legal companies «Berkut», Non-profit Organization of Nizhegorodski region «The veterans of law-enforcement agencies military operations», the department of education and social and legal protection of children along with the military-patriotic club «Bagram», have held a meeting of city military-patriotic associations.

The event was held in health and education camp for children «Chayka» in the health resort area of Zheleniy Gorod, one of the most picturesque places in Nizhegorodski region. 16 teams made of 150 city military-patriotic associations students joined the event.

The meeting was held in order to achieve intergenerational continuity of defenders of Russia, commemoration of Nizhny Novgorod heroes, who fought and died in the military operations fulfilling their military and service duties and also was dedicated to the upcoming 20th Anniversary of Private guarding and investigation in Russia and Nizhny Novgorod on 11th of March, 2012.

The Preparations for the city military-patriotic associations was carried out with organizations and sponsorship of the Association of guard and legal companies «Berkut» and under the patronage of its CEO, P.V. Kovalev.

A.V. Sidorenko, the CEO of the Non-profit educational institution «Training center «Berkut-Cadet», and S.D.Ovchinnilov, a veteran of military operations in flash points, the executive manager of one of the departments of the «Berkut» Association were appointed by the Association of guard and legal companies «Berkut» for direct participation in the city military-patriotic associations meeting activities.

During four days boys and girls took part with great interest and enthusiasm in the master classes of tactics and engineer training, intelligence and self-defense which were taught by true professionals – military operations veterans, famous athletes and members of special military units.

It should be noted that the organizers provided the participants with excellent educational material. Boys and girls had practiced with the samples of small arms of World War II as well as with the present ones of the Russian Army and the MIA armament. In the course of exploring the arms the meeting participants listened with great interest the story about the history of their creation along with their technical details and the deeds of Russian soldiers and Interior Ministry officers who used these arms in real operations to protect our homeland and to fight against terrorists. The fact that the stories about military operations were told by the veterans and members of special military units was especially important.

One of the main activities of the meeting was two-sided field tactical exercises on the liquidation of conditional armed gangs. The participants used the real camouflaging facilities, up to date laser shooting simulators, ran and cleared a conditional minefield under the supervision of experienced instructors, learned to detect snipers and wage an antisniper struggle. During the training S.D. Ovchinnikov, a veteran of military operations in flash points, the CEO of one of the departments of the «Berkut» Association shared his extensive military experience with the participants.

The city military-patriotic associations meeting showed the high level of work done with the young people in the military-patriotic clubs for cultivating patriotism, pride for our country, civil liability for its safety, willingness to actively resist the criminal acts in society and participate in maintaining law and order.

This extremely interesting and dynamic event was closed with general meeting of the participants and summing up the results. The military operations veterans, famous athletes and members of special military units spoke in front of the participants and highly evaluated the teams background, expressed their gratitude to the managers of the military-patriotic clubs for the necessary and important work carried out by them.

S.D. Ovchinnikov, the CEO of one of the departments of the «Berkut» Association, a veteran of military operations in flash points, congratulated in his speech the meeting participants with the successful completion. He pointed out that the outstanding results showed by the boys and girls are not limited, the learned practical military skills need to be improved, the participants’ friends should be engaged in the clubs as well. Also, S.D. Ovchinnikov told the audience about the «Berkut» Association, its work on providing safety of people of Nizhny Novgorod and the upcoming 20th Anniversary of Private guarding in Russia and Nizhegorodski region on March 11th, 2012.

A.V. Sidorenko, the CEO of the Non-profit educational institution «Training center «Berkut-Cadet», also emphasized in his speech the importance and necessity of the military-patriotic clubs activity, praised decent background of the meeting participants, particularly noting that the training in the clubs should go along with excellent results at school. He expressed his confidence in the fact that all of those present are surely A-students. The animation in the audience was the confirmation of this fact.

A.V. Sidorenko told the participants about the work of private guarding agencies of the city, drew the examples of brave and selfless acts of the private guards of the «Berkut» Association who maintain law and order, protect life and health of the city and region population. He also spoke about the preparation for the upcoming 20th Anniversary of Private guarding in Russia and Nizhegorodski region.
