On the 19th of July, 2011, in The State Duma of the FA of the RF a regular session of the Committee on events preparation and organization was held. The Committee organizes the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the private guarding and investigation in Russia. The session was assisted by: Klintsevich F.A., RF State Duma deputy, Galochkin D.E., the Chairman of the NSI Trade Union, Goloshapov I.A., the Chairman of the Supervisory board in NP "KC ROSS", the Deputies of the State Duma and the representatives of government, public and non-governmental guarding organizations. In total, more than 150 people assisted the session.

Dmitriy Galochkin, the Chairman of the Committee Secretariat reported on the work done. In particular, he informed that:

• a full functional body (secretariat) was formed for preparation and organization of the events for the 20th anniversary of guarding and investigation in Russia;
• the areas of the Committee activities were defined and working groups were formed to be engaged in the respective activities;
• the website of the Committee was created (орг20.рф);
• a media committee for the trade mass media was formed;
• the communication system for informing the members of the Committee, the industry community and the public was developed.

The session participants discussed some preparation details for the anniversary event which will be celebrated in the March of 2012. As the Committee plans, it should be the apotheosis of all the celebrations. It is planned to be a festive evening on the most prestigious site of Moscow, the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, which will be assisted by the most important state officials of the state, the representatives of all power brunches on federal and regional levels and the members of NSI community. The Committee members noted that the events celebrated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the NSI would not be over on the 11th of March, 2012. They will continue over the whole next year. The biggest private guarding organizations (PGO) and regional coordinating councils (CC) will be involved.

In the course of preparation of the business program for the celebration days a speech was given by Vladimir Y. Golubovsky, the Head of the Department for Interdepartmental Interaction Support of FDCS of Russia. He spoke about interaction between PGO and FDCS in the sphere of drug traffic control.

The next meeting of the Committee will be held in a month.
