International Child Protection Day

On the 1st of June International Child Protection Day is celebrated almost by every country of the world. The Council of veterans of the Head Office of Internal Affairs of the Nizhniy Novgorod region with workers of Patrol-Guard Service and Association of Guard and Legal Companies "Berkut" organized a holiday for inmates of social shelter “Solnishko” and for children of veterans of the Head Office of Internal Affairs and workers of Patrol-Guard Service of the Police.

There were a lot of interesting competitions and performances for children. There also was a competition of children’s paintings on asphalt on the theme “The World in children’s eyes”, after that all small participants got presents from Association of Guard and Legal Companies "Berkut". Then the organizers together with the children visited the museum of regiment of Patrol-Guard Service of the Police, where memorable photos of workers of regiment, military uniform, equipment and etc. are exhibited.

As part of the action, there was a performance of children’s military-patriotic club “Bagram”. Its members showed hand-to-hand combat, karate and many other things. After that in the conference hall of the regiment of Patrol-Guard Service of the Police the famous Nizhny Novgorod group “Batalyonnaya razvedka” sang military-patriotic and children’s songs. After all these events there was a holiday tea-party, and small participants got a lot of presents – children’s sporting goods and toys.
