On February 17, 2011 within the framework of an event called "Week of courage" taking place in a sport complex "Dinamo" the "Berkut" sports team participated in a traditional tournament of five-a-side football in memory of a Russian Hero Eugeniy Shnitnikov.

To celebrate the beginning of the tournament the sportsmen marched in review of the guests to the stains of the NN CIAD orchestra. The Head of IAD, Militia Colonel Alexander Ilychenko performed the opening of the tournament.

"An outstanding example of honor and virtue in serving our Motherland is a Russian Hero, Militia Capitan Eugeniy Shnitnikov in whose memory this tournament is held. The event taking place today shall demonstrate respect to our diseased comrade, professional solidarity in our readiness to fight terrorism and crime of all forms as well as shall it cement relations between the contestants", said Militia Colonel Mr. Ilychenko.

A sister of Eugeniy Shnitnikov named Vera Petrovna Marikova came to express her gratitude to the competitors: "I want to thank you all for helping our family throughout the years. There is no better memory than memory of comrades-in arms", said Vera Petrovna.

A representative of the Veterans Council Mr. Alexander Kasakov took an opportunity to thank the participants of the tournament for establishing business and friendship relations and handed out awards to them. Medals "For comradeship-in-arms" handed over by Alexander Kasakov received:   Deputy Head of Central Internal Affairs Directorate Department of Licensure of Nizhniy Novgorod region Militia Colonel Sergey Byvalov,  Head of Training Department CIAD LD Militia Colonel Sergey Yakushev,   Chief Specialist of Training Department CIAD in Nizhniy Novgorod region Militia Captain Mixim Repin,   Assistant of Operations Regiment PIS IAD in Nizhniy Novgorod Senior Warrant Militia Officer Ivan Vorobyev,   Head of a Department at Association of Guarding and Legal Companies "Berkut" Mr. Sergey Ovchinnikov, and   Director of "Dinamo" Mr. Vladimir Kiselev.

Nine teams of different services and departments of the regional CIAD took part in the competitions along with some other members of force structures: teams of a regional public organization "Veterans of Chechnya Conflict", Association of guarding and legal companies "Berkut", an executive office of the CIAD in Nizhniy Novgorod region, IAD of Nizhniy Novgorod region, IAD Directorate of Militia #1, Regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, regiment of Patrol and Inspection Service IAD, Main Directorate of Private Security at CIAD, and a team of the Transportation Directorate of MIA Russia at Privolzhskiy Federal District.

The game in opinion of its facilitators was very emotional and exciting. The winner - a team of the Association of Guarding and Legal Companies "Berkut" was presented with a Friendly Match Cup. The second and the third prize won the teams of the Main Directorate of Private Security and the IAD Directorate of Militia #1. The best goalkeeper of the tournament was stated a criminal investigation officer Militia Major at Militia Directorate #1 Mr. Denis Zinovyev, the best forward -  Alexey Chegolin , a player of the "Berkut" team, and the best full-back -  Alexey Egorov from the Regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate. All participants of the event were awarded with commemorative diplomas.
