An article published at the 10th issue of «Security management» journal – an official news publication of the Coordination Council of the Maintenance of Public Order Department, Russia, described the enlarged meeting of the Coordination Council MPOD that took place on October 01, 2010. As a member of the Coordination Council Presidium and Privolzhskiy Federal District Coordinator, the “Berkut” Company Director General P.V. Kovalev was present at the meeting as well as a Head of one of the Company's departments Sergey Ovchinnikov who was honored during the meeting with a medal “For distinguished service” by the Chairman of the Committee of Public Award, a Hero of the Soviet Union - G. N. Zaytsev. The awardee proven himself a skillful and competent leader of consolidated volunteer private guards brigade in the state of emergency in the fire-stricken zones.
