Friendly Match

On 23 April 2010 a friendly indoor soccer match between the expansion team of the Coordination Council of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region and a soccer club from Tcheboksary “Assotsiatsia” took place at the Berkut Sports Club.

The match was held with the assistance of :

• the Coordination Council of the Maintenance of the Public Order Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia,
• the Coordination Council of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region,
• the Coordination Council of Tcheboksary on Cooperation with Private Security Companies in Providing Public Security

The participants of the match were greeted by honoured guests:   

Alexandr Fomin – militia colonel, head of the Directorate for the Protection of Public Order of Public Security Police of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Vice-Chairman of the CC of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;

Nikolay Dyakov – militia major, Assistant Department Director of the License Issuing Department and the Emergency Action Committee and Inquiry Department of Public Security Police of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;

Pavel Kovalev – member of the CC Presidium of the Public Order Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia – coordinator for Privolzhsky Federal District, Vice-Chairman of the CC of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;

Andrey Karinkin – militia major, executive  of the License Issuing Department of Tcheboksary;

Mikhail Bykov – representative of Nizhny Novgorod Soccer Federation;

Gennadiy Mamonov – honoured member of Nizhny Novgorod Boxing Academy;

Yury Novozhilov – Director of the Association of security and law companies “Berkut”;

Alexandr Prosvirnov – chief coach of the Berkut Soccer Club.

The participants of the match showed a high level of sportsmanship, effectiveness and will to win. From the first minutes the Nizhegorodians took the initiative – the first half finished with 5 goals to nill. The most efficient were the foewards – Nizhegorodians A. Chegolin, S. Grishin, D. Kuznetsov, I.Pavlov.

However, the guest team, after the review of the tactical and technical mistakes made by the on-the-field coach of the team D. Khlebnikov and A. Karinkin, representative of the License Issuing Department of Tcheboksary, took over the initiative and had all chances to change the course and the results of the match completely.

The guest’s arrack at the field during the second half was headed by D. Khlebnikov himself. – President of Association of Security Companies “Chuvashia”, who scored two goals in the host’s goal. The guest team won in the second half with a score of 4:3, despite the tough resistance of the Nizhegorodians.

However, the stopwatch was at the Nizhegorodian’s side – the expansion team of the Coordination Council of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate   of Nizhny Novgorod Region won with a total score of 8:4.

According to the results of the match, the winning team was awarded the following prizes:

• TEAM – WINNER - Nikolay Dyakov – militia major, Assistant Department Director of the License Issuing Department and the Emergency Action Committee and Inquiry Department of Public Security Police of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;
• TEAM – MATCH PARTICIPANT - Alexandr Fomin – militia colonel, head of the Directorate for the Protection of Public Order of Public Security Police of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Vice-Chairman of the CC of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;
• BEST PLAYER OF TEAM – WINNER - Pavel Kovalev – member of the CC Presidium of the Public Order Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia – coordinator for Privolzhsky Federal District, Vice-Chairman of the CC of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhny Novgorod Region;
• BEST PLAYER OF TEAM-MATCH PARTICIPANT - Andrey Karinkin – militia major, executive  of the License Issuing Department of Tcheboksary;
• GOALKEEPER OF TEAM-WINNER - Mikhail Bykov – representative of Nizhny Novgorod Soccer Federation.

After the match its participants and honoured guests continued their communication in an informal, friendly atmosphere, in the course of which they shared their experience of Coordination Councils organizing popular sports work among private security organizations in their regions and outlined a series of joint events.

It should be mentioned that this sporting event coincided with the closing of League One soccer season in Nizhny Vovgorod by the indoor soccer team of the Berkut Sports Club.

The soccer team “Berkut”, during the three years of existence, has achieved considerablr success: from a fresher – team of the Third League Indoor Soccer Championship of Nizhny Novgorod is among the top ten teams of League One.

During the season of 2009 and 2010 the team took part in 19 meetings, among which there were 11 victories, 4 draw games and 4 matches, won by the opponents.

The team has a very efficient forward line – 58 goals scored, which is the fifth result among League One teams.

Upon the whole, we can congratulate Berkut on a successful end of the season.

In connection with this great event for the Berkut Sports Club, players were awarded with ceremony the following nominations:

• Best Shooter Award, handed over by Mikhail Bykov, of Nizhny Novgorod Soccer Federation;
• Best Back – Gennadiy Mamonov, honoured member of Nizhny Novgorod Boxing Academy;
• Most Valuable Player – Alexandr Prosvirnov, chief coach of the Berkut Soccer Club;
• Best Goalkeeper – Yury Novozhilov, Director of the Association of security and law companies “Berkut”;
• Best Coach – Pavel Kovalev, Director General of the Association of Security and Law Companies “Berkut”.
