On 27 December a child and youth boxing tournament, organized by the Boxing Academy of Nizhny Novgorod, took place in our city.
The competition was held within the action “Box Against Drugs and Juvenile Delinquency”.

The Boxing Academy is a professional European-standard room, where it is comfortable to train for athletes of all ages, it is professional and honoured coaches and master classes from world-class boxers.
The Academy’s activity is built according to the competition schedule, in close contact with the Boxing Federation of Nizhny Novgorod Region, boxers of the club take part in all competitions held in the city and within the region.
The Academy boasts a professional coaching staff, the highest qualified coaches. Alexandr Belobrov is an honoured coach of Russia. Pavel Romanov is Master of Sports of Russia. The coach of the kickboxing department is Andrei Sirotkin. The Head of the Boxing Academy is Maxim Tarasov, a fan of this kind of sport and a member of the Boxing Federation.
The Berkut Association of Security and Law Companies is a member of the Boxing Academy. That is why the representative of the Association Gennadiy Mamonov had an honorable mission at the tournament – that of awarding the distinguished boxers.
Besides, representatives of Berkut fight, too, taking an active part in competitions and tournaments organized by the Academy. The managerial staff of Berkut have got thank you letters and a memorable cup from the Boxing Federation of Nizhny Novgorod Region for making a huge contribution into the development and promotion of boxing, physical training and sports in Nizhny Novgorod Region.
