Basic directions of work, results and prospect

Non-governmental educational institution “Training unit “Berkut-Kadet” began its activity on December 29, 2004.

The main purposes of its establishment at that time were:

• training of personnel of Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” according to the programs for training of private guards;
• perfection of professional skills of guarding staff of objects of different categories of the Association taking into account the peculiarity, as well as trainings of medium and junior management staff (heads of security service of objects, seniors of guard shifts and personnel, who is equal to them);

During the time passed the significant experience in organization of trainings was collected in the Training unit, a modern training-material base was created, that allowed to expand the range of tasks, solved by our personnel.

At the present time the following directions of training, training-method and information analysis work were developed and realized:

• training of students according to the basic programs of training and retraining of private guards;
• optional studies within the course of studies of basic programs under themes: “Body-guard”; “Organization and management of object guarding”; “Escort of freight and collection of payment”, as well as other issues within the limits of themes for activity of private guards and managers of medium level of private guarding enterprises;
• providing of measures for Commission of the Main Department of Interior of Nizhniy Novgorod region for periodical checks of private guards, private detectives (investigators) and employees of legal persons with special charter tasks for fitness for actions in conditions connected with use of fire-arms and special facilities;
• information-analytical provision of managers of professional training of personnel of private guard enterprises within the practical issues concerning methods and organization of training of personnel of security services of different objects;
• providing assistance to the graduates of the Training unit in solving problems arising during the practice in guard enterprises, as well as in preparation and passing of the periodical check;
• development of training, training-methodic and information-analytical materials, training and visual aids for different issues of professional training of private guards and managers of medium level of private guarding enterprises;
• provision of heads of private guarding organizations with practical assistance in creation of training-material base for professional trainings of personnel;

During the period of work of the Training unit:

• More than 20000 students passed trainings and made use of services of different directions of training activity, as well as acting private guards and officials of private guarding organizations.
• the client base of our Training unit includes more than 180 private guarding enterprises of the city and region.

Of a list of graduates of our Training unit:

37,04% - staff of Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”,

32,37% - were directed to our corporate clients.

30,59% - passed trainings privately.

By the decision of the Central Commission of the Ministry of Interior of Russia (minutes of 28.03.2006, paragraph 5.3., register number PCKPP -11) the Training center “Berkut-Kadet” was entrusted with a crucial task:

- provision of measures of the Commission of the Main Department of Interior of Nizhniy Novgorod region for periodical checks of private guards, private detectives (investigators) and employees of legal persons responsible for special charter tasks for fitness to actions in conditions connected with application of firearms and special facilities.
