On October 15th the management of Berkut Association participated in a meeting with managers of small and medium enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The establishment of the Public Committee at the prosecutor’s office of the Nizhny Novgorod area for protection of small and medium enterprises was on the agenda of the meeting. Mr. V.G. Chernyakov, the Deputy Public Prosecutor, was appointed the Chairman of the Committee. The Public Committee at the Prosecutor’s Office was established by order of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation for protection of rights and legal interests of entrepreneurs. The main goal of the Committee is coordination of work for identifying unlawful administrative interference and various restrictions imposed on small and medium enterprises, increasing efficiency of cooperation between the prosecution agencies and public associations presenting entrepreneurs’ interests. During the meeting the questions on increase of power supply rates by 3.5 times and the lawfulness of the sale of municipal premises rented by entrepreneurs were raised. Mr. V.Ghernyakov and representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs answered these and other questions. Mr. D.I. Labuza, the Vice-President of the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, dwelled on the organizational aspects of the Committee’s activities and told of the scheduled visiting meetings at enterprises for studying their experience. Mr. D.I. Labuza briefly mentioned the “financial crisis”, in particular unlawfulness of the banks’ activities of increasing the rates of existing credit lines. |
