In April 2008, in Lublin, Yaroslavl region, Russian hand-to-hand multiathlon championship “STURM” took place. The members of Nizhny Novgorod team that participated in that prestigious competition were representatives of the Association of Guard and Legal companies  “Berkut”.

The Nizhny Novgorod team got the medal place (III) and was awarded a commemorative diploma. On behalf of the Convenor, the President of Hand-to-hand Multiathlon Federation,  the Association “Berkut” was presented a letter of thanks and appreciation for taking part in organizing the Russian Championship and development of national combat sports was expressed.
