Fear kills the pleasure of life. Fear to loose something dear for you, to be a victim of deceit, to be attacked… These are not just words. A wave of terrorism and crime makes us constantly be on alert, and the state of excessive anxiety has become a typical diagnosis. Is it because of this we wish each other stability and assuraness more often? The statistics has it: 52% of participants of the recent Internet poll are ready to invest more than 15% of the budget to the company’s security.
High guarantee of safety can be provided only by professionals to whom we can trust with our property, business secrets and even life. Real specialists give their clients the feeling of security preserving confidentiality. These people are able to foresee, quickly estimate and prevent danger, solve a problemme without brawls and showy fights.
In Nizhny Novgorod Region one of the largest guard companies is "Berkut", which now is called Association of Guard and Legal Companies. Why, having had the equal starting resources for any guard agency, "Berkut" became the biggest in our region?
The answer is in principles and priorities, which are at the heart of work of this excellent team. Firstly, human resources. A saying “personnel determines everything” is very suitable here. Now there are more than 1500 people in the Association and requirements to present and newly coming employees are just growing: requirements to physical state, professional experience, general culture of behaviour. The unconditional requirement is discipline.
The Association is the only guard company in the region which has its own training centre “Berkut-Cadet” that has got License from the Ministry of Education. The training centre provides retraining of management of security cervices and teaching of guards and giving diplomas, which allow to get license for guarding activity.
Secondly, striving for collaboration and uniting private and state guard structures. The collaboration is on all levels from practical steps in common patrolling the city streets and providing safety during mass events to serious legislative initiatives. Association "Berkut" was given membership in All-Russia Coordinating Committee of guard and detective companies’ managers, which unites 79 regions.
Thirdly, the main and determining factor, which brought success to "Berkut", is its strategic plan: to be not only a hired executive but a reliable and responsible partner. The principal of building relationships is not providing guarding services but complex safety. The Association has specialists in different fields: professional bodyguards and guards, freight attendants, specialists who study different market sectors, who can find out your potential client’s solvency. The Association can give the widest spectrum of legal and audit services: from making legal documents (letters, inquiries, agreements), negotiating with counteragents of the Customer to representing and protecting interests in any court of Russia.
Fourthly, "Berkut" is very proud of its honourable name and of respect got from clients and authorities. That is why to provide guarantees "Berkut"made an agreement with one of the leading insurance companies of Russian Federation. Now "Berkut" is in a very small number of guard companies (2%) that insured their professional activity in favour of customers.
In the end, we must destroy the myth that only famous people and large corporations need serious protection. This opinion is an old stereotype. A new generation of our clients consists mainly of managers and owners of small companies. This proves democratization and general tendency to safety.
