On 10-11 July 2007 the 3rd annual Forum of national business “New business of new Russia” took place in “Expocentr”, Moscow. The Forum was organised by Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Public Chamber of Russian Federation, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, all-Russia non-governmental organisation of small and medium enterprises “OPORA of Russia” and a number of other organisations. 

The Vice Head of the RF Government Alexander Zhukov, the Vice Minister of economic development and trade of Russian Federation Kirill Androsov, the President of Russian Chamber of Commerce Evgeny Primakov, the First Deputy of the RF Head of Government Dmitry Medvedev and other representatives central public authorities (of Government, Ministries, Committees etc, Russian Federation state Duma, Soviet of the Federation, heads of the Russian Federation constituents, directors of Russian and foreign companies were invited to participate in the Forum. Among the participants invited to the Forum was Private Guarding Company “Berkut” Ltd. Director P.V. Kovalev.

The subjects discussed at the Forum were

• Economics of Russian Federation: development scenarios
• Corruption and business – have you got accustomed to this?
• Is the social market model efficient?
• How can Russia grow quicker? The role of non-raw-oriented business.
• Authorities and business: building together?
• Regional policy – stimulating the weak or supporting the strong?
• HR policies. Who is to work at Russian companies?

A special subject of the Forum was “National projects: preliminary results, looking into the future”. 

During the Forum exhibitions of national projects, investment projects, innovation higher education institutions, financial institutes’ presentations were held.
