22 April 2007 in the “Tschelkovsky” Sport Complex games on Championship in mini-football, on the Cup of Association of Security and Legal Companies “Berkut” started. Competitions had the purpose to attract citizens of Nizhny Novgorod to systematic sport activity, and also to develop and popularize mini-football. Away from this, the Competition gave a lot of pleasure not only to the football-players themselves, but also to their numerous fans, which came to support their team.

The “Berkut” sport club was guiding the competition, including organization of matches, providing refereeing and medical assistance.

In the Cup took part mini-football teams from Nizhny Novgorod, were separated into two subgroups, according to their ratings (in order to make the forces of each group more or less equal). After matches in each subgroup, there were two leading teams, which went on competing for the Cup.

As it had been supposed, the tournament disappointed neither participants nor spectators, who actively supported the players of their teams.

The game was very interesting; it had many dangerous moments, which held the fans in tension all the time during the game. Most supporters were wives and children of the players. Children as well as adults discussed successful maneuvers and beautiful goals.

So the Association Cup attracted young generation of participants to sport in general, and to mini-football in particular.

It should be mentioned, that an official partner of the tournament was the “Berkut” Association. At the end of the competition the teams-winners were awarded. The representatives of the Association thanked the football-players for the pleasure and gave diplomas, Cups and presents to all the teams- participants. They also expressed hope that the glorious tradition of mini-football Association Cup would be kept.
