On August 30, 2006 Autonomous non-commercial organization “Sports Club Berkut” was created. The Association “Barkut” has had the football team for quite a long time. The members of the team met to play football for pleasure. Eventually the hobby grew into a professional work. 

From October 7, 2006 Open Championship in mini-football is conducted in Nizhny Novgorod and the team of the Association “Berkut” participates as an officially registered sports club. The games of our team are in Sports Centre “Zheleznodorozhnik”. Our team has already managed to achieve good results and we hope that further games of the championship will be successful too. The teams that get the first, second and third places, will get diplomas, cups and valuable prizes.

The championship is conducted by the city federation of mini-football and the general management is done by the Committee of Physical Training and Sports. The Open championship in mini-football aims at attracting citizens of Nizhny Novgorod to practicing physical training and sports and promoting mini-football.
