From 6 to 10 February there was XI International Forum “Security technologies 2006”. It was a very important event in the field of security, where the “Berkut’ Association took an active part. During the Forum the Management of the Association visited the Memorial hill and laid wreaths to the Monument of soldiers, killed in Afghanistan. Gudkov G. D (a member of Committee of the State Duma on security) spoke at the meeting.

7 February Management of the “Berkut” Security Agency took part in the Plenary, the first part of which had the title “Priority tasks and perspectives of improvement of technical security means in Russia”

Representatives of State Ministers and Departments expressed their attitude to Russian market of technical security means and their development and improvement. Fradkov M.E – Chairman of the Government RF, Chairman of the anti-terrorist Commission, Vassiljev V A – Chairman of the State Duma on security, Ozerov V A - Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Defense and Security, Voytenko V.P. – member of the Committee of the State Duma on security, Sukhodolsky M. I – Vice- Minister of Internal Affairs RF - Matyukhin V.G. – Head of Russian Information technologies , Saleev V. N. – Head of the Rostransnadzor, Faleev M .I. - Director of the Rescue Department RF, Pronin V.V - head of the State Department of Intertnal Afairs RF in Moscow, Kulikov N. V – head of the Government Security Department in Moscow.

The second part of the Plenary had the title “World security industry: regional markets and global trends”. The “Berkut” Association took part in the Round table “Cooperation of the sub-units of the police with private security organizations in protection of property and fight with terrorism”. It was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Russia and the Administration of the Coordination Center. of the Security-detective Agencies. Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and head of the Department of Internal Affairs Blagov A. D and representatives of the security-detective structures took part in the work of this Plenary.

Problems of the organization were discussed at the general Meeting of the Administration Coordination Center. The “Berkut” Association is the member of this Center.

Resolution was to apply to other social institutions with the initiative to make a monument to Securities killed at their job

Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RF and Department of Internal Affairs in Moscow took part in the Seminar “Legislation and practice of control of private detective and security activity”. At the Seminar there were representatives of the Union of Russian armories and armory plants. According to Government Resolution N 179, from 1 March 2006 private security agencies can use only long-barrel fire-guns, which are very rare nowadays. The problems of documents, regulating issuing of security certificates, and also the problems, connected with annual examinations were discussed at the Seminar.

8 February representatives of the “Berkut” Security Agency took part in the fifth traditional All-Russian Conference “Security industry in Russia in 2006”. Gudkov G. V. Vedenov L. V an others made their reports. 9 February there was the first gathering of the representatives of security agencies, having control panel security. The gathering aroused great interest of representatives of securities organizations.

That day was the First sitting of the Security club, devoted to the problems of security service marketing. The chairman of the sitting was Krayushenko N. G. There were about 30 people, including representatives of the “Berkut” agency.

On the last day of the Forum the Management of Association attended the Seminar “Intelligence is a universal platform for building a complex security system” It should be mentioned that leaders of the security industry: world-famous brands and leading Russian companies took part in the Forum.
