Meeting in Sovetsky Police Department

September 28, 2005 in the hall of Sovetsky police station was a meeting devoted to the problems of providing safety in Nizhny Novgorod and its region. The Deputy Head of the administration, public prosecutor of Sovetsky District, the Head of Sovetsky Police Station participated in the meeting. Leaders of big private guarding companies, including АGLC "Berkut", were also invited to the meeting.

During the meeting АGLC "Berkut" and N Novgorod division of MIA signed an Agreement about collaboration. According to it the Association should:

• assist in providing public order;
• take measures to prevent illegal actions and crimes in Nizhny Novgorod and its Region;
• conduct educational work;
• assist in solving problems with homeless children and juvenile delinquency.

The second important item on the agenda was re-electing the Chair of Coordination Committee on providing public safety. The executive director of АGLC "Berkut" U.V. Novozhilov was re-elected for this position.
