On August 29, 2005 Nizhny Novgorod Ministry for Internal Affairs conducted Round Table devoted to an acute problem of safety in schools of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The event was conducted by the Head of the Ministry, Major-General P. Myasnyakov. The participants of the Round Table were N. Karmanov, Deputy Chairman of N. Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly, representatives from the Administration, from Ministry for Emergency Situations in Privolzhsky Federal District, from Ministry for Education, heads of private guard companies, fire safety companies, and insurance companies. Association of Guard and Legal Companies "Berkut" was among participants, too. Deputy Director Y. Novozhilov in his speech described experience in providing safety in educational establishments and his views on guarding schools in N. Novgorod Region.
Association of Guard and Legal Companies “Berkut” has valuable experience in this field in all regions of Russia because it is the founder and active participant of noncommercial partnership “Coordinating Centre for Managers of Guard and Detective Companies” in Moscow, which unites the biggest Russian guard companies.
The results of the Round Table were called positive by the management of the Ministry for Internal Affairs. There was developed a plan of complex actions to improve the level of safety in schools of Nizhny Novgorod and its Region.
