The management of Association of Guard and Legal Companies “Berkut” in Training Centre "Berkut-Cadet" organized seminar-training “Programme to Prevent Thefts in Retail Trade Places” devoted to the problems of introducing modern technologies of providing safety, particularly preventing thefts in self-service shops. The seminar was supervised by S.V. Rusinov, expert from “Moscow Centre of Business Safety”.

The participants of the seminar were managers and employees of the Association "Berkut" and of security cervices of large retail trade shops. In the first part of the seminar S.V. Rusinov, expert from “Moscow Centre of Business Safety”, presented analytical material and gave practical recommendations in the following spheres: precautions against losses which result from steeling by customers, thefts by personnel, using modern technical guarding means.

The second part was conducted in one of self-service shops where participants worked out special tactical questions suggested by the seminar plan. The final part was an exam in computer room of Training Centre "Berkut-Cadet" and giving certificates to the participants.

Besides there was done a poll on the quality of the seminar organization, the analysis of which showed that 95 % of participants highly estimated the effectiveness and usefulness of the training for solving practical tasks in their work. S.V. Rusinov praised high professionalism of security services management.
