The Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” was established in 1996. Today it is one of the largest non-state security structures in the Volga Federal District, it is a company of the federal level. The Association of guard and legal companies "Berkut" operates in 135 Russian cities.

The main activities - physical security, panel protection, legal services, it has its own academy  of security (the number of graduates is more than 160 thousand), proper clothing manufacture (the customer geography - from Kaliningrad to Naberezhnye Chelny).

 On August 30^th, 2006 the Association "Berkut" organized its sports club with a mini-football team. The results of the team were: the second place in the Russian championship, three consecutive seasons - the champions of Nizhny Novgorod region.

 The Association of guard and legal companies "Berkut" is engaged in the popularization of security activities through its own newspaper and magazine issues. Also on the basis of the Association "Berkut" it was created the only in Russia Museum of private security, visitors of which are already more than 3 500 people.

The Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”:

-          Deputy Chairman and member of the Coordination Council on interaction with private security organizations and private detectives at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region.

-          Member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia – Coordinator of Volga Federal district;

-          Founder and full member of the “Coordination center of Heads of security and detective structures of the Russian Federation” Non-profit partnership, Moscow (member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, certificate No.515);

-          Full member of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional public organization of veterans and members of the special purpose group of state security bodies “VYMPEL”, participants of military actions and special operations “VYMPEL-N”;

-          Member of the Central Council of institutions on personnel training of security and detective structures of the Russian Federation;

-          Member of the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
