THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD “VETERAN OF NSS-2017” PROJECT IS IN FULL PLAY

On May 5th according to the Plan of Implementation of the Nizhny Novgorod “Veteran of NSS-2017” project, there was held a meeting of the leadership of the Presidium of the Coordination Council on interaction with private security organizations and private detectives at the MA MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region with veterans of the Great Patriotic War and employees of private security companies - veterans of combat operations, who after the war have made a worthy contribution to the state interests of Russia.

The meeting took place at the Museum of the MA MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region on the eve of Victory Day and has become an important step in preparation for the 25th anniversary of the private security and investigation in the Russian Federation. General leitmotif of the event was to demonstrate continuity of different generations of defenders of our homeland: the World War II veterans and war veterans, who over the years have made a great contribution to the national interests of our country with military awards, and are now working in private security structures in Nizhny Novgorod.

• Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans of the “Russian Union of veterans” retired Major-General Gennady Ivanovich Sokolov.

• Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Security Academy “Berkut” - Coordinator of the organizing committee on preparation and realization of the “Veteran of NRC-2017” project of Nizhny Novgorod Alexander Vasilievich Sidorenko.

• Employees of the Nizhny Novgorod private security organizations - veterans of “hot spots”, awarded with fighting awards for the protection of Russian national interests.

 

 

• Members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for Cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives at the MA MIA of Nizhny Novgorod region.

• Pupils of the Nizhny Novgorod boarding school № 1.

Opening the ceremonial event, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Security Academy “Berkut” - Coordinator of the organizing committee on preparation and realization of the “Veteran of NSS-2017” project of Nizhny Novgorod A.V. Sidorenko congratulated all those present on the upcoming Victory Day and, in particular, stressed that the meeting of different generations of defenders of the Motherland on the eve of it was a symbol and demonstration of the continuity of different generations of our Motherland Defenders: the Second World War veterans and war veterans who over the years have made a worthy contribution to secure the national interests of our country with military awards, and are now working in the private security structures in Nizhny Novgorod.

The role of the veterans in the military-patriotic upbringing of the younger generation cannot be overestimated. However, unfortunately, every year their ranks are noticeably reduced. In this regard, the role of their worthy successors is increased – the war veterans, who after the war have made an invaluable contribution to the state interests of Russia, which is comparable with the merits of respected veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Every year, their role in the military-patriotic upbringing of the younger generation is growing. Next A.V. Sidorenko informed the participants about the concept and plan of implementation of the Nizhny Novgorod “Veteran of NSS-2017” project.

In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Coordination Council under the State Ministry of Interior of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region Deputy Superintendent of Police (for public order) of the MA MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region Police Colonel V.N. Generalov congratulated all those present on the upcoming Victory Day and, in particular, stressed that dozens of the war veterans work in the ranks of the non-state security structures of Nizhny Novgorod region, who after the war years have made a worthy contribution to the state interests of Russia. Many of them have high military awards. They work very worthy in the private security structures, cement and unite their ranks that directly impact on the provision of high-quality security services.

V.N. Generalov said that the demonstration of their high patriotism and responsibility to the residents of Nizhny Novgorod is the fact that many of those present employees of security organizations would serve during the Victory Day celebrations.

Chairman of the veteran organization of internal affairs agencies of Nizhny Novgorod region, an honorary citizen of Nizhny Novgorod Police Major-General P.I. Sibirev congratulated all those present on the upcoming Victory Day and informed the participants of the meeting about the main directions and results of the Council's activities.

He stressed that the Council of the veteran organization of internal affairs agencies of Nizhny Novgorod region is actively supporting the initiative of the Nizhny Novgorod Project of the “Veteran of NSS-2017” and together with the organizing committee on preparation and implementation of the Project has outlined a set of measures on further improvement of military-patriotic education of the younger generation, as well as the use of the MIA veterans’ experience in practice on the organization of cooperation of private security structures with the MIA bodies, enhancing the image of private security and the profession of a private security guard.

Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans of the “Russian Union of veterans” retired Major-General G.I. Sokolov congratulated all those present on Victory Day and in the bright, well-reasoned form gave an analysis of the origins and significance of the Great Victory, clearly formulated the main directions of joint work of the veterans' organizations and the Nizhny Novgorod private security community for military-patriotic education of the younger generation, implementation of social projects to assist veterans assistance .

G.I. Sokolov emphasized that the Nizhny Novgorod regional organization of the All-Russian public organization of veterans of the “Russian Union of veterans”, which is  headed by him, supports the initiative of the Scientific Council of the Security Academy “Berkut” on the implementation of the “Veteran of NSS-2017” project and in conjunction with the Organizing Committee on preparation and implementation of the Project has planned to implement for 2016-2017 a set of measures on further improvement of military-patriotic education of the rising generation with the participation of veterans of “hot spots” with high government awards and are now working in private security companies of Nizhny Novgorod.

Member of the Coordination Council for Cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives at the MA MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region, a veteran of the fighting in Afghanistan, Commander of the Order “For Service to Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR”, Director of the “Bastion” PSO Nicholay Nikolaevich Nesvit congratulated all those present on the upcoming Victory Day. At the same time, he stressed that for our soldiers, defending the state interests of our country in the Republic of Afghanistan, the heroes of the Great Patriotic War were always the role model.

A veteran of fighting in the Caucasus and Commander of the Order of Courage, an employee of the “Berkut” Association, Alexey Vadimovich Yuklin congratulated all those present on the upcoming Victory Day, and at the same time he expressed his sincere gratitude to veterans for the victory. However, he stressed that the young people, soldiers of his generation had served the motherland, and become officers, not sparing the life, achieved victory in the battle thanks to the examples of heroism of the older generation - the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Further, there was held the meeting of heads of the Nizhny Novgorod public organizations of veterans and members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council with pupils of the Nizhny Novgorod boarding school № 1, with which the Coordination Council have developed long-standing patronage ties.

The young guests informed the participants about their progress in studies and events dedicated to the Great Victory in which they participated.

The Participants of the meeting of the Coordination Council with great interest familiarized with a thematic exhibition of children's drawings, which the children had prepared, dedicated to the Day of Victory and the Nizhny Novgorod private security community. Their young authors transferred all submitted pictures to the exposure of the Nizhny Novgorod Museum of private security.

Next, the young guests presented a concert. The guests’ presentations differed exceptional diligence and desire to please the audience. They succeeded this certainly.

Chairman of the Coordination Council V.N.Generalov congratulated young guests on the upcoming Victory Day. The present veterans gave them gifts and wished excellent marks in school, high achievements in art, new friends, new achievements and new knowledge.

 

Chairman of the Coordination Council V.N.Generalov handed nominal gifts from the Coordination Council to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and employees of private security organizations - veterans of the fighting, which in the post-war years, have made a worthy contribution to the state interests of Russia.
