NIZHNY NOVGOROD PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANIES HELD MILITARY-PATRIOTIC GATHERINGS FOR CHILDREN-MEMBERS OF YOUTHFUL MILITARY-PATRIOTIC CLUBS

In February of 2016 the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”, the Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization “Veterans of military operations of law enforcement agencies”, the Ministry of education and social-legal protection of childhood of Nizhny Novgorod region together with the military-patriotic club “Bagram” held gatherings of military-patriotic associations of the city. 

 The event was held on the base of the children’s recreational and educational camp in the Green town resort village – one of the most picturesque places of Nizhny Novgorod region. Its participations were 16 teams, bringing together 150 pupils of military-patriotic associations of the city. 

The gatherings were carried out with the aim of ensuring the continuity of generations of defenders of Russia, perpetuating the memory of heroes of Nizhny Novgorod, who fought and was killed while performing military and service duties.

The Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” sent Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko, for direct participation in the preparation and work of the gatherings of military-patriotic associations of the city.

The preparation of carrying out the gatherings of military-patriotic associations of the city was held with the direct organizational and financial involvement of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”, under the patronage of its General Director, P.V.Kovalev.

During the solemn ceremonies of the participants of the gatherings, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A. V. Sidorenko congratulated those present with the beginning of such an important and necessary event, wished the boys and girls to achieve high results in military-applied master-classes, in which they would participate. However, he stressed that it is necessary to improve the military-applied knowledge, received during the preparation and participation in the gatherings, to involve their friends in the work of the clubs.

Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut” A. V. Sidorenko in his speech also stressed the importance and necessity of work of military-patriotic clubs, good training of the participants of the gatherings, emphasizing that the lessons in the clubs should be accompanied with excellent schooling, and expressed his confidence that all participants are clear standouts. The excitement among the participants of the gatherings testified that the way it is in reality.

A. V. Sidorenko told the participants about the work of private security structures of the city, examples of courageous and selfless actions of private security guards of the Association “Berkut” on ensuring law and order, protection of life and health of the residents of the city and the region.

During four days boys and girls with great interest and desire were participating in master classes for tactical and engineering training, exploration and self-defence, which were held by true professionals – veterans of military operations, famous athletes and employees of special units.

Particularly it should be noted that the organizers of the event provided its participants with excellent facilities. Boys and girls in practice got acquainted with the samples of small arms of times of the Great Patriotic war, as well as with the armament of the Russian Army and the Interior Ministry at the present time. During familiarization with the weapons, the participants of the gatherings, in addition to their technical characteristics, with great interest listened to the story about the history of its creation and exploits of the Russian soldiers and employees of the MIA, who used these weapons in real battles to defend our homeland and fight against terrorists. Especially important was that the story about military affairs was held by veterans of military operations and members of special units.

One of the major events of the gatherings was bilateral field tactical exercise on elimination of conditional illegal armed groups. The participants of the gatherings used real masking equipment, modern laser shooting simulators, under the guidance of experienced instructors they overcame and demined a conditional minefield, studied to detect snipers and to wage with them the counter-sniper fight.

The conducted gatherings of military-patriotic associations of the city have shown that at military-patriotic clubs at the highest level it is carrying out the work on education for young people of patriotism, pride for our country, civil liability for its safety, willingness to confront criminal phenomena in the society, to participate in the maintenance of law and order.

That very interesting and dynamic event ended with a general gathering of the participants and summarizing its results. For the participants there were presentations by combat veterans, famous athletes and employees of special units, which highly appreciated the preparation of the teams, expressed gratitude to the leaders of military-patriotic clubs for the role they play in very necessary and important work.
