CHIEF OF THE MAIN DEPARTMENT OF THE RUSSIAN MIA IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION, POLICE LIEUTENANT-GENERAL I.M.SHAEV, MET WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD COORDINATION COUNCIL FOR COOPERATION WITH PRIVATE SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS.

Chief of the Main Department of the Russian MIA in Nizhny Novgorod region, police Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev, met with the leadership of the Nizhny Novgorod Coordination Council for cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives.

The meeting took place in the main office of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut” and was devoted to the issues of further improving of interaction of Nizhny Novgorod private security structures to ensure public order.

Chief of the Main Department of the Russian MIA in Nizhny Novgorod region was accompanied by:

• Deputy Chief of police (for protection of public order) of the MD MIA of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod region, Chairman of the Coordination Council, police Lieutenant Colonel V.N.Generalov;
• Head of the Center of LPW of the Russian MD MIA in Nizhny Novgorod region, police Lieutenant Colonel N.P.Dyakov;
• Deputy  Head of the Center of LPW of the Russian MD MIA in Nizhny Novgorod region, police Lieutenant Colonel I.A.Bureev;
• Headship of the press service of the Russian MD MIA in Nizhny Novgorod region

The Nizhny Novgorod private security community was represented by members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for cooperation with private security organizations and private detectives:

• Member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the MIA of Russia – coordinator for the Volga Federal district, CEO of the Association “Berkut”, P.V.Kovalev;
• Founder of the PSE BSA “Vityaz-NN” Ltd., V.A.Raisky;
• Director of the SE “Bastion” Ltd., A.G.Fedyanin;
• Director of the PSO “Vympel-grand NN” Ltd., O.A.Vagin;
• Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko;
• Head of the Unified Duty Department of Nizhny Novgorod private security organizations, V.V.Degtev

P.V.Kovalev informed police Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev about the main directions and results of activities, as well as prospects of development of the Association of guard and legal companies “Berkut”, where currently more than 3,000 employees work in 105 cities of the country.  Despite the difficult economic situation in the country, the Association “Berkut” is demonstrating good growth rates.

A structure of investments of the Association is aimed at the unconditional implementation of its development strategy and improvement of quality of security services, and includes the priority funding to:

1. Improving the professional level of all staff categories of the Association in the Academy of Security “Berkut”, which nowadays is one of the leading specialized educational institutions of Russia. More than 165,000 people have used its services in various areas of educational work.

In 2014 there was implemented the investment project to establish a branch of the Academy in the town of Kstovo.

1. Development of a social infrastructure of the Association, aimed at:

-         creation of comfortable conditions of work for employees;

-         staff motivation and prevention employees’ turnover by strict observance of social obligations to workers.

1. Continued implementation of the Program of charitable activities of the Association.

For this purpose the long-term social projects are implemented:

The “Sports club “Berkut”, which in 2014 became the silver medalist of the Russian championship on mini-football. And in the seasons of 2013-2-14 the club three times in a row became the winner of the championship on mini-football of Nizhny Novgorod.

1. Improving the quality of security services by accelerating development of the technical component of ensuring security of the protected objects, using modern information technologies.

P.V.Kovalev, as member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council at the Russian MIA – coordinator for the Volga Federal district, informed Lieutenant General I.M.Shaev on the activities of the Federal Coordination Council, as well as the main directions of cooperation of the private security structures of the Volga Federal district.

Then, Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev visited the Unified Duty Department of Nizhny Novgorod private security organizations. Its head, V.V.Degtev, acquainted Chief of the Main Department with the organization and results of its work, experience in organizing interaction of private security organizations with the MIA bodies for prevention and suppression of offenses and crimes.

Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Security “Berkut”, A.V.Sidorenko, briefed Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev with the educational facilities and organization of professional training of private security guards and  advanced training of heads of private security organizations in the Academy of Security “Berkut”.

Next, Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev with great interest got acquainted with the exposition of the Museum of private security. However, he emphasized that the establishment and work of the museum was one of the most important forms of work to improve the image of private security and prestige of the profession of a private security guard and made a note in the Book of honorable guests of the Museum.

Summing up the results of the meeting was held in the format of a round table with participation of members of the Presidium of the Coordination Council, during which Lieutenant-General I.M.Shaev gave a high assessment to the activities of the Coordination Council and stressed that the main task of members of the Presidium – revitalization of activities to attract potential of private security organizations for protection of public order, combating crimes, participation of security-detective structures in the complex of measures for solution tasks of the state policy in the field of ensuring security of entrepreneurship and personality, development of optimal practical recommendations, aimed at  a high quality solution of issues of public safety.
